We know that it is not by coincidence that you have come here. We have prayed that God will send people like you to this Ministry and we are thankful that He had answered our prayers. Bethesda International Ministries is affiliated to Withered Hand Ministries Inc. which is based in USA and is filed as a Ministry consisting of Churches or Church groups under one Ministry. We are Pastors and Missionaries, Willie & Cornelia Potgieter. Also known as Abraham & Deborah as God has changed our names before we moved to Israel in preparation to live and work amongst the Jewish people in Israel. We are South Africans whom God had sent to Israel from 1997 until 2002. Since November 2002 we are living in Germany. God brought us to Germany (Europe) as He called us for the Nations. You will see that our emblem is a picture of the earth with the name of the Ministry in a circle around "the earth". This is prophetic. Ministries around the world needs to joins hands to fulfill the great commission. There are four corners on our emblem of the earth. This represents the four wind directions, north, south, east and west. There are four Gospels in the Word of God and Jesus said: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature". We see this Ministry as an extension to the Church. We are not replacing the local Church. Your local Church or Ministry has to continue as before. Our aim is to join hands with other Ministries to form a strong network on the Internet to reach out to the lost of the world through this media. In the end we would like to have members all over the world and in all countries. In joining hands with other Ministries we are taking the Word of God not only to the Church, but outside the walls of a building to the world. Thus we fulfill the commission which Jesus Himself commanded us the Church. (Matthew 28:18-20). We would like to have a great impact through the Internet. Although this network of Ministries works through the internet, we operate it in the same matter and structure which is also found in the church.
