I grew up in a traditional home where we went to church on Sundays. Only much later, after completing my military training I realized that I am not born again. I was born again in 1974 and was baptized with the Holy Spirit on the eve of Christmas 1974. I still carried on with "my normal" life for years until the 31st December 1984. On this night I rededicated my life to the Lord and since then never looked back. Many things happened since that day but today I know that I have a relationship with Him. Shortly after my rededication I was totally delivered and set free from bondage that I carried with me for years. I started to attend a Bible School. Because of many things that happened in my family God was slowly preparing me to go on outreaches. The Lord gave me a love for the English language, which I hated during my school days. We, as a family went to Mauritius, an Island in the Indian Ocean, to go and visit a small church. This made a great impact on my life as people got saved. Here we saw and experienced miracles from God, multiplication of food, etc. People got delivered instantly! I later went on a trip to Zimbabwe and here the same thing happened. I brought the Word of God to freedom fighters. It was an experience in itself. I preached under a tree in the open air. I even had the opportunity to baptize people, who got saved. At one of these occasions, I was baptizing three blind teenagers; they all were filled with the Holy Spirit when they came out of the water. I baptized them in a river. Deborah and I returned to Mauritius another three times. I later got involved in home churches and we, Deborah and I, became home church leaders. We later trained people to become home church leaders. People's lives got changed. Today we can see the fruit of it and many of them are on fire for God. We saw great things of God. Little did I know that this was all preparation for something new. I always believed in the tentmakers ministry and believed that the Lord is my source and my provision. To work was just a means for me to provide for my family. In August 1997 my employer told us that they are restructuring the company and they are closing down the section where I was working. At that stage the Holy Spirit told me something was going to happen and he prepared me for that. I just knew that we had to leave South Africa but our destination was unknown. Deborah visited Israel in 1996 on a tour. In the middle of 1997 the Holy Spirit started to speak to us to give some of our furniture away. Even our car we had to give away. The Holy Spirit told us what to give and to which person. People thought we were mad to do this but we acted on a word from God. In September 1997, I went for a visit to Israel and I knew that was the place to go to. I took a decision to go and we, as a family, went in faith to Israel without a job commitment. I arrived back in Israel in November 1997 and went for an interview and started to work for a company in Israel on the 1st December 1997. It was difficult for me the first six months and then things started to change. At first I was treated as an intruder but then I was accepted amongst them till the end. Jesus Christ's love changed their hearts and filled it with love. I did not preach to them but the Lord created the opportunities for me to do that. They battled amongst the groups for me to work with them. I was assigned to a certain group each time. At the beginning of 2001 the Lord spoke to me again through His Spirit. It was a time of preparation again. It was and still is very difficult, the process of Holiness. There were some hard times and we went through the fire. God showed us that our season in Israel was over and it is time to move on. God took us to Europe, to the Nations. We came to Germany November 2002. The Lord is in Control and I give Him all the praise, worship and honor. Amen. Back to Top
